Flying F Ranch was created by Bryce and Alli Fender in 2014 just after their marriage. They were given 10 bred heifers from Alli’s dad as a wedding gift which was the start of the Flying F herd. The main ranch, Mesa Chiquita Ranch, has been in the family since 1921. It was originally a dairy and then transitioned to a beef ranch in the late 90’s. In 2020, the couple made the decision to transition their herd to registered Black Angus genetics to start marketing beef direct to consumer in the Southern California region. Since then, they have elevated their beef product and offer USDA Retail Black Angus beef in wholesale and retail options. Soon, they will be adding pork to the collection. Additionally, their sons raise poultry (chicken and turkeys) a few times out of the year for spring and Thanksgiving.
